Based on an 1816 short story by E.T.A Hoffman and premiering as a ballet in 1892, The Nutcracker with its fairy tale adventure of Clara and her Nutcracker prince has become emblematic of the Christmas season in the US. First performed here in 1944 by the San Francisco Ballet, it is an unmissable part of the holiday celebrations. Don't miss the talented, 55-strong cast of the State Ballet Theatre of Ukraine as they perform and bring their dazzling production to you this year!
