He's finally got his Green Card!
John Oliver is on tour and hits the Durham Performing Arts Center in Durham, NC, showing for one date only on 22 Oct 2011!
Oliver is best known for his work on The Daily Show, where he provides a "British perspective" on the day's events; he mostly lampoons the absurdity of certain aspects of American culture, as well as the difficulty he encounters with acquiring American citizenship. He won an Emmy for his writing on the show in 2009; the following year he won a WGA Award.
