Your upcoming shows for the 2024/2025 season have been announced!

Broadway in Durham is due to add some extra sparkle to the year as the shows that will be taking over the stage of Durham Performing Arts Center in 2024/25 have been announced!

Clue
September 3 - 8, 2024 @ Durham Performing Arts Center

Based on the board game and the cult movie classic, Clue is a fiendishly funny murder mystery, where everyone is a suspect, and the next potential victim! Featuring all the colorful characters from the game, from Colonel Mustard to Mrs. White, Clue leads us from room to room in a whirlwind of slapstick comedy and real theatrical verve.

October 1 - 6, 2024 @ Durham Performing Arts Center

Nominated for nine Tony Awards, including Best New Musical! If you've been waiting for a musical that features the hits of Britney Spears, The Backstreet Boys and The Weeknd, then your day is finally here! Following its rapturous run on Broadway, & Juliet features music by songwriter extraordinaire Max Martin and now is heading out on tour! This new brand new tuner is bound to be a season highlight and unforgettable night out!

A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical
January 7 - 12, 2025 @ Durham Performing Arts Center

Good times never seemed so good, especially with a Neil Diamond musical is heading on tour! A Beautiful Noise is a brand new production about the Grammy Award-winning legend Neil Diamond's life. Tony Award-winning 'Once on This Island' producer Kev Davenport will join forces with Four Season's Bob Gaudio in producing this musical. You'll experience the journey through Diamond's life with some of his memorable hits including 'Love on the Rocks', 'Songs Sung Blue', and of course 'Sweet Caroline' to keep your feet tapping along the way. It'll be an experience like no other!

Winner of two Drama Desk Awards! After an a-maize-ing premiere at Broadways Nederlander Theatre, the heartwarming story is heading on a national tour! With Nashville's top songwriting talents from Tony winner Robert Horn, in collaboration with Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally, this musical offers a kernel of joy in these divided times, exploring how opening up to people and ideas we are wary of can be a beautiful process, uniting us in our similarities, not our differences. Aw Shucks!

Back to the Future: The Musical
May 20 - 25, 2025 @ Durham Performing Arts Center

Great Scott! Back To The Future is on tour and coming to YOU! The hit 80's franchise is the latest movie sensation to receive a Broadway musical adaptation. The production follows Marty McFly and kooky scientist Doc Brown as they travel through space and time, finding themselves in a series of mishaps. Will these two-time travelers ever find their way back home?

Some Like It Hot
June 17 - 22, 2025 @ Durham Performing Arts Center

The 13-time Tony-nominated, Grammy-winning show is hitting the road on a brand new tour in 2024! The classic black and white romantic comedy Some Like It Hot bursts onto the stage in full technicolor during a brand new imagining of Billy Wilder's 1959 musical mobster classic. Widely considered one of the most influential and celebrated filmmakers of the Golden Era of Hollywood cinema, Wilder brought together silver screen legends Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon for bonafide box office success, creating one of the most beloved films of the MGM canon in the process.

The Wiz
August 5 - 10, 2025 @ Durham Performing Arts Center

The seven-time Tony-winning hit, "The Wiz," is back with a brand new Pre-Broadway tour the first in 40 years! The soul, gospel, funk, and R&B-fused reimagining of Frank L. Baum's "The Wizard of Oz" will be taking to the road in a brand new production directed by Schele Williams, presenting William F. Brown and Charlie Smalls' vibrant musical for the 21st century. With additional material by Amber Ruffin and choreography by Jaquel Knight, join Dorothy, Toto, Tinman, Scarecrow, and Lion as they boogie down the Yellow Brick Road in search of heart, knowledge, courage, and home!
